PERMANENT MAKE-UP
EYELINER
|
The
permanent enhancement is applied directly in the lash line for a
natural look, although some patients want a heavier application.
-
Only
hypo-allergenic and MRI-safe pigments are used.
-
Applied
subtly, eyeliner will ultimately give your lashes a thicker
appearance.
-
The
procedure has very little discomfort; "it tickles" patients will
say.
-
The
eyebrow is done with a very delicate hairline stroke to imitate
hair.

EYEBROWS
 |
For a
soft, subtle, and beautiful application, hair line strokes are
performed.
More
than one color is used to add depth and dimension.
|
LIPS
As a
precautionary measure all patients are given a prescription for
a full course of an anti-viral medicine.
There is
no or very little discomfort from this procedure because a very
strong topical anesthetic is used to numb the lips.
The full
lip procedure has the most downtime of all the permanent makeup
procedures.
Immediately after the full lip procedure, the lips are usually
twice their original size and extremely bright in color.
Within a
few days, the bright top layer will exfoliate and the swelling
will go down.
It may
take between 4 to 6 weeks to assess the end result of your full
lip procedure; the color is not yet settled in the dermal layer
of your skin. It is for this reason that we do not touch
up before 6 to 8 weeks.

The
field of permanent cosmetics is not a regulated industry in the
State of Arizona. There are many providers offering this service
that are not credentialed. Make sure you research your
provider. The two national organizations offering certifications
are the American Academy of Micropigmentation (A.A.M.) and the
Society of Permanent Makeup Professionals (S.P.C.P.). In order
to keep their credentials, providers must obtain a certain
amount of continuing education credits every year.
